Roslyn Sportelli

Roslyn Sportelli was born into real estate. Being the daughter of Nerina and John Sportelli, who together ran one of the most successful Brisbane Real Estate Agencies in the 80s and 90s, it was inevitable she would eventually find herself in the same field. After her parent’s early retirement in the 90s, Roslyn took initiative and independently obtained her Real Estate certificate in 2003 after finishing secondary school. She quickly secured an administrative position for a prolific Inner-city real estate agency where she worked for 3 years between two offices, gaining significant industry knowledge, insight and experience.

In 2006, her parents re-entered the real estate industry and purchased 3 RE/MAX Offices in New Farm, Ascot and Clayfield, employing Roslyn as both the Head Administration Manager and Nerina’s Personal Assistant. Together, they worked in the Clayfield office to establish RE/MAX Integrity, a name that would guide and reflect their work practices as they vowed to showcase integrity through their philosophy, conduct and behaviour in all real estate transactions.

It was shortly after new management was established that Roslyn ventured out and attained her full Real Estate Licence in 2006 – she has held it ever since. The years Roslyn worked beside Nerina, a top performer in Real Estate, proved to be invaluable as she was able to learn some of the finest marketing and negotiation skills in the industry. Furthermore, Roslyn’s dedication to the RE/MAX Integrity office eventually saw her receive RE/MAX Australia’s 2009 Personal Assistant of the Year Award.

In 2013, due to unforeseen circumstances, Roslyn was suddenly thrown into the deep end of property management. Despite, relocating to the New Farm Office and transitioning into a new area of Real Estate, Roslyn quickly found herself managing the entire property management department within 6 months. From the ground up, she rebuilt all the systems and procedures, transforming the department into a well oiled machine. It was in the New Farm Office that she further developed and expanded her real estate knowledge into both the sales and rentals facets of the industry.

In August of 2018, Nerina and John decided it was time to officially retire. To carry on their family’s legacy, Roslyn purchased the business from them and has since relocated the office to Albion. It is here where she is beginning her journey, following in her parents footsteps, but bringing a whole new type of enthusiasm to the industry! In fact, within her first few months of taking over, she has already successfully sold two properties with cash contracts in Hamilton and Clayfield in a tough sales market.

Now, in 2022, we have branched away from the RE/MAX Network and rebranding to become a local, australian run and owned business called Zen Estate Agents. We are really excited for this change and to be out on our own as a totally independent Real Estate Agency!
